Genius Brands International Greenlights Season Two of Llama Llama

llamallamaGenius Brands’ preschool series Llama Llama will get a second season on Netflix. Jennifer Garner will return in the lead role as Mama Llama. Season one of Llama Llama, also starring Jennifer Garner, debuted worldwide in 20 different languages on Netflix in January 2018. Currently in production on season two, Genius Brands and Netflix are developing two new, 30-minute Llama Llama specials, including one for Mother’s Day.

Based on the book series by author and illustrator Anna Dewdney, the preschool series is about first childhood experiences and adventures. Llama Llama tells the tales of life in a safe, friendly town seen through the eyes of Llama as he interacts with the world around him.

Genius Brands Builds Llama Llama Licensing Program in North America

LlamaLlamaThis year, Genius Brands International Inc. will expand the North American consumer products’ program for Llama Llama with new partners. Llama Llama follows premiered on Netflix this month and features the voice talent of actress Jennifer Garner.

New partners include Franco MFG for bedding, Cuddle Barn for animatronic plush toys, Intimo for sleepwear, Prime Party for online party supplies, and Myself Designs/Myself Belts for belts. Kids Preferred will also develop a line of plush. Llama Llama TV Series to Premiere Next Month on Netflix

LlamaLlamaThe global premiere of Llama Llama will debut on January 26 on Netflix. The Genius Brands International Inc. property is based on the book series by author and illustrator Anna Dewdney. The TV series will feature the voice of Jennifer Garner.

Genius Brands Expands Newman’s Role and Hires SVP

GBI Appoints NCircle Entertainment as Home Entertainment Partner for Llama Llama

Genius Brands International has named NCircle Enterainment as the exclusive home video partner for the new animated series Llama Llama. NCircle will distribute new animated content for the series across multiple platforms.

GBI partnered with Llama Llama author Anna Dewdney and publisher Penguin Young Readers to develop animated content based on the bestselling books. The company will also create a comprehensive line of licensed products, including toys, games, apparel, accessories, bedding, and healthy snacks and meals set to release next year.

Kids Preferred LLC has signed on as the toy partner for Llama Llama, and will develop a line of plush toys, puppets, and jack-in-the-boxes to launch at retail next year.

Genius Brands Acquires Programming for Kid Genius Channel

GBIGenius Brands International, Inc., (GBI) a global content and brand management company, has acquired two new animated series to offer on its Kid Genius channel, debuting on Comcast’s XFinity On Demand service in September.

The line-up includes the series Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego and Dennis the Menace, a show based on the classic comic strip created by Hank Ketcham.

GBI Partners with Penguin Young Readers for Original Multimedia Content Based on Llama Llama Brand

Mar3.LlamaLlamaGenius Brands International (GBI) has partnered with Penguin Young Readers and author/illustrator Anna Dewdney to lead the worldwide expansion of Dewdney’s book franchise, Llama Llama. GBI will create animated content based on the Llama Llama books for multi-platform distribution.

In addition, GBI is developing a global licensing and merchandising program for the brand across multiple categories, including toys, games, apparel, accessories, bedding, and healthy snacks. The products are anticipated to launch at retail next year.

The book series has previously been adapted for the stage, dance performances, and musicals. The books in the line are Llama Llama Red Pajama, Llama Lama and the Bully GoatLlama Lama Time to ShareLlama Llama Misses MamaLlama Llama Holiday Drama, and Llama Llama Mad at Mama.
