Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products Announces a Variety of New Deals

Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products is expanding its e-commerce business with programs both domestically and abroad that will give consumers global access to official products from their favorite films and television shows. Starting this month in China, the company is integrating brand specific shops via social media platforms, entertainment sites, and exhibitors, while building its e-commerce model in various territories.

Fox Consumer Products and KISS will produce a co-branded Family Guy/KISS product line that will hit shelves this coming fall. To support the program, Fox Consumer Products and Live Nation Merchandise will look for partners in categories including vinyl figures, bobble heads, apparel, plush, novelty, barware, social expressions, and fine art. Outside of co-branding efforts, character collections are in development based on Stewie, Brian, Peter, and Quagmire, as well as new product categories, including two new video game brands and pet products. A deal with Fetch…for pets! will introduce a full range of pet toys, clothing, collars, leads, bowls, and backgrounds and accessories for fish and reptile tanks starting next year.

In fashion, Fox Consumer Products will partner with Dolce & Gabbana, Benetton, H&M, Forever 21, and C&A, bringing franchises such as The Simpsons, Ice Age, and Rio to retail.  The company shifted its overall fashion outlook earlier this year with a partnership with designer Jeremy Scott, creating a selection of clothing inspired by Bart Simpson. The pieces, which became the central part of Scott’s new line during Fashion Week, have helped shore up these new agreements with fashion brands.

Jeremy Scott Creates Bart Simpson-Inspired Fall Collection

Bart Simpson made his New York Fashion Week debut last week. Bart Simpson-inspired fashions walked down the runway at fashion designer Jeremy Scott’s February 15 show at MILK Studios. Scott, known for designing outrageous pieces and inspired by the spirit and personality of The Simpsons, created a collection of limited-edition pieces for the fashion show. Scott has designed for stars in music and Hollywood, including Madonna, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga.
