UEFA Euro 2020 Appoints IMG Master Licensee

IMG_EURO2020The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) appointed IMG as the exclusive master licensee for UEFA Euro 2020 and other major UEFA tournaments through 2022. The new appointment follows IMG and UEFA’s highly successful collaboration on the licensing program for UEFA Euro 2016 and UEFA’s other national tournaments through the 2014 to 2017 period.

The new multi-year global rights deal includes the UEFA Women’s Euro 2021, UEFA U-21 Championship 2019 and 2021, UEFA Futsal Euro 2022, and UEFA’s brand new Nations League Finals tournament with its inaugural editions in to be held in 2019 and 2021. Read the rest of this entry »

Epic Games Selects IMG as Exclusive Worldwide Agency

FortniteEpic Games, the game developer and publisher of the popular Fortnite game franchise, selected IMG to be its exclusive worldwide agency for consumer products licensing and promotions.

Crossfit, Strauss Brands Launch Crossfit Approved Meat

CrossfitApproved_StraussCrossFit Inc. and Strauss Brands entered a multi-year deal for CrossFit Approved premium-quality meat. The deal was brokered by IMG.

A CrossFit Approved box is now available on Strauss’ online store, Free Raised Direct, and features a curation of Strauss’ free-range chicken, grass-fed burgers, beef sticks, and various cuts of steak. Strauss will also stock CrossFit Approved meat in select grocery retailers across the U.S. later this year.

IMG Acquires Exhibitions International

IMGIMG acquired the global museum exhibition producer, Exhibitions International. Exhibitions International’s portfolio of events includes KING TUT: Treasures of the Golden PharaohPOMPEII: The Exhibition, and Mummies of the World. 

IMG and Exhibitions International previously partnered with the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities to create KING TUT: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, a ten-city international exhibition tour that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. IMG, Bear Grylls Partner to Create Survival Sport Challenge Series

BearGryllsIMG partnered with survival expert Chief Scout and international TV host Bear Grylls to create the Bear Grylls Survival Challenge (BGSC), the first event series to focus on survival.

The inaugural event will take place next April in the Greater Los Angeles Area with additional stops in the U.S. and Europe. Participants will compete on a four-mile, off-road journey that will take them through 18 survival scenario challenges. NFL Appoints IMG as Global Licensing Representative in Europe

The new multi-year deal will see the NFL further expand its brand presence internationally through new licensed consumer product initiatives for its international fans.
