eOne to Open Peppa Pig World of Play Indoor Attractions

PPWOP_logo_COL_Eng_TMEntertainment One (eOne) and Merlin Entertainments (Merlin) will launch the first Peppa Pig World of Play attraction. The standalone, indoor attraction will bring eOne’s preschool TV property to life through a series of interactive play areas. The first locations announced are Shanghai’s LC Mall, set to open its doors late this year, and the Grapevine Mills in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, expected to open early next year.

eOne Launches Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom in China

The first season of Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom will be accessible on iQIYI next month. iQIYI will also manage licensing rights for the property in the region, spearheaded by a publishing launch this summer and fall and a hard launch spanning multiple categories later this year. eOne to Launch Peppa Pig Consumer Products Program in Japan

Sega Toys, the master licensee in Japan, will launch the new products at an exclusive “Peppa Pig Goes to London” pop-up store this spring. Inspired by the storybook Peppa Pig Goes to London, the pop-up store will run from March 28 to April 3 at Takashimaya Shinjuku department store in Tokyo. eOne Names Alpha Group Master Toy Partner for Peppa Pig in China, Expands Hong Kong Office

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne) appointed Alpha Group as its master toy partner for Peppa Pig in China. New toys will launch this year and feature play sets, figurines, and role-play items.

eOne’s Peppa Pig licensing program in China currently has more than 45 partners and will continue to expand this year. Additionally, this September Merlin Entertainments will debut the first Peppa Pig attraction in Shanghai. A new deal was also signed with Happy Kids Cultural Development for a Peppa Pig stage show that will tour the country over the next three years. Pop-up and mall events are currently in discussion. PJ Masks gear hitting retail nationwide includes the Catboy Cat-Car and Gekko Mobile ride-ons from Jakks Pacific. These custom sculpted, kid-powered vehicles come with flashing lights, sound effects, and play the PJ Masks theme song. eOne Expands Peppa Pig Licensing Partnership with New and Current Partners

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne) renewed and added additional Peppa Pig licensees for new product debuts at retail next year.

New Peppa Pig products from existing products include a 2-in-1 kid-sized Flip-Open Sofa with removable and machine-washable slipcover from Spin Master; backpacks and lunch bags from Accessory Innovations; digital watches from Accutime; a bedding set from Baby Boom; new bedding and bath collections from Character World in Partnership with Franco Manufacturing Co. Inc.; and underwear for girls and toddlers from Handcraft.

Newly-appointed licensees Berskshire Fashions and Hamco Inc. will introduce a cold weather set from and toddler bibs and table toppers, respectively.

The Peppa Pig preschool entertainment brand continues to generate more than $1.2 billion in global retail sales per year. The brand has more than 1,000 licensees worldwide. The show airs in more than 180 territories and has been translated in more than 40 languages.

eOne Unveils Expansion and New Rides at Peppa Pig World

PeppaPigWorldEntertainment One (eOne) revealed plans to expand Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park theme park in Hampshire, UK. The attraction will soon feature two new rides—The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club—that will open to the public in May.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride will take families on a tour around the newly extended area of Peppa Pig World in individual coaches on a monorail starting from the top of the Queen’s castle. Guests will also be able to hop aboard boats at Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club where they can cruise along the new water route around Peppa Pig World and discover Pirate Island. eOne Announces FTA Broadcaster, First Partners for PJ Masks in Mexico

PJMasksEntertainment One (eOne) secured free to air broadcaster (FTA) Televisa for PJ Masks, which will begin airing the first season of the preschool series in Mexico next month. Televisa will broadcast the show in addition to co-production partner Disney Junior, where the show airs daily across the Latin America region.

Bandai México is the distributor for Just Play’s master global toy line in Mexico. The initial toy range launched exclusively in the market via Liverpool stores in August, where local media and bloggers were present to celebrate the launch.

Peppa Pig Live Adds Tour Dates for Next Year

PeppaPigLiveThe new North American Peppa Pig Live tour Peppa Pig’s Surprise will visit an additional 33 cities next year. Following a 60-city leg this fall, Peppa Pig’s Surprise will resume next April in Las Vegas and make its first trip to New York City. The show will also visit 18 cities in Canada, including Toronto. Peppa Pig Live brand has sold more than 400,000 tickets in the U.S. and Canada to date.

Citi is the official card of Peppa Pig’s Surprise, and cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale as well as VIP packages, including a meet and greet with the cast.
