Thomas & Friends, Pottery Barn Kids Launch Exclusive Home Décor Collection

ThomasFriendsBedroom_PotteryBarnMattel’s Thomas & Friends brand partnered with Pottery Barn Kids to debut an exclusive licensed collection of Thomas & Friends home décor and accessories. The Thomas & Friends from Pottery Barn Kids collection includes more than 20 pieces that feature bedding, decorative accessories, tabletop, luggage, lighting, pajamas, and toys.

The collection incorporates artwork based on the original illustrations of Thomas and his friends from the 1945 The Railway Series by the Rev. W Awdry. The collection is available for purchase now on and in select Pottery Barn Kids stores nationwide beginning on September 22.

Genius Brands International Appoints New Licensees for Rainbow Rangers

Rainbow Rangers newGenius Brands International Inc. continues to add key partners for its upcoming animated preschool series Rainbow Rangers with the appointment of new licensees including, The Bentex Group for apparel, Jay Franco for bedding and home décor, and H.E.R. Accessories for accessories.

MindWare Acquires Licensing Rights for The Rainbow Fish


MindWare acquired multi-category toy and game licensing rights for The Rainbow Fish book series worldwide.

MindWare’s first product launch, later this year, will include lacing cards, magnetic play sets, cooperative board games, an ocean fort, and activity books. Additional categories available for licensing include bedding, room décor, stationery, and craft items.

The Rainbow Fish book series has sold more than 30 million copies and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2017.

Ñañaritos Signs Vidorra Group as Exclusive Licensing Agency

Vidorra Group signed C-Mar Corp. to serve as exclusive global licensing agency for C-Mar’s Ñañaritos brand.

Ñañaritos is youth-oriented bilingual (English-Spanish) brand featuring stories, games, hand painted characters, and art and exhibited at Licensing Expo and Brand Licensing last year.

Ñañaritos is available to licensees in apparel, e-commerce, fashion accessories, jewelry, electronics accessories, plush, loungewear/sleepwear, hosiery, bedding, home décor, party goods, and dinnerware. Ñañaritos is also looking for a publishing agreement for its bilingual book series with the first book El Primer Ñañarito en la Tierra (The First Ñañarito on Earth) ready for print.

These products will be aimed at sophisticated consumers who shop in high-end retail and specialty stores.  Slonem will also be making an appearance this month on The Today Show, and will be featured in the upcoming issues of Vanity Fair, Modern Luxury and Traditional Home.
