Vewd, Kaltura Partner for Sesame Street App

VewdKaltura_SesameStreetSesame Workshop launched a new Sesame Street streaming TV app for Vewd-enabled connected TV devices. The app features content from the 48 seasons of the TV series, and includes dedicated sections to Sesame Street characters. The new app is available on connected TV devices from Sony, Samsung, HiSense, Tivo, Vestel, and many more.

The new app was built in partnership by Vewd and Kaltura. Kaltura added compatibility with Vewd Snap, the app creation and distribution tool. Vewd Snap features a full HTML5 TV app, complete with a turnkey user experience and light customization options.

Slither.io, Surreal Entertainment Partner for New Range

slither.ioSlither.io added Surreal Entertainment to its growing roster of licensees. Created by Lowtech Studios LLC, slither.io is a game app that had more than 160 million downloads and more than 28 billion plays last year.

Surreal Entertainment will manufacture and distribute beverage-ware, novelty items, and home goods. Other licensed partners include Party City, Bonkers Toys, Fifth Sun, Accessory Innovations, Franco Mfg, Just Toys Intl., Trends, Aquaris, and Everything Legwear, and Raw Thrills. Bonkers Toys Nominated for LIMA Award for slither.io Line

Bonkers_slitherioThe Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA) nominated Bonkers Toys and its licensed slither.io toy line as one of six 2018 nominees in the “Toys and Games for Ages 0-12” category.

Bonkers Toys saw potential for slither.io, a family-friendly game and app from independent developer Lowtech Studios, shortly after the game was released. Bonkers became the first licensee for the mobile game, and created a true-to-license line of products including blind bag collectibles, plush, backpack clips, spinners, squishies, and build-a-slither toys. BBC Worldwide, Tiny Rebel Games Partner for New Doctor Who Game

Doctor Who Infinity Tiny Rebel Games Ltd. partnered with BBC Worldwide for Doctor Who Infinity, which will be available on PC on mobile platforms next spring. The new game is funded by Welsh Government’s Media Investment Budget and Double Eleven Ltd., and developed in collaboration with Seed Studio.

Doctor Who Infinity builds on the puzzle gameplay of Doctor Who: Legacy and immerses players in comic book style puzzle adventures. Each story-based adventure has its own unique art style and author.

With a soft launch in early Spring, Doctor Who Infinity will initially launch exclusively early next spring, and will be live globally on PC, iTunes, and Google Play late spring.

Rovio Entertainment, Everton Enter Multi-Year Shirt Sleeve Partnership

AngryBirds_EvertonRovio Entertainment Corporation and Everton, the English Premier League Club, signed a multi-year shirt sleeve partnership. Beginning September 17, Angry Birds will be an official shirt sleeve partner for Everton.

The Premier League sports league has more than 1.5 billion global viewers in more than 200 territories, and Rovio has 80 million monthly active users. The partnership will bring together fans from these two communities to participate in collaborative content in the Angry Birds games and co-branded fan merchandise.

Play London with Mr Bean is an interactive mobile Match-3 game with geo-location features, starring an animated Mr Bean character visiting scores of tourist attractions in central and outer London. Launching later this year on iOS and Android the game will engage with visitors to the city and help them discover London’s hidden tourist gems, the city’s cultural sights, and gourmet food destinations.

Players will be able to pick up vouchers, which they can cash in for discounts when they are in London, and find bonus offers on locations around the city, including free Wi-Fi, hotel room rates, and discounts at famous visitor attractions.

Amazon Original Kids Series Niko and the Sword of Light to Premiere on Prime Video
