Sesame Workshop, Uniqlo Partner for Kaws x Sesame Street Collection

SesameWorkshop_Kaws_UniqloSesame Workshop partnered with Uniqlo for Kaws x Sesame Street UT. The collection features a unique take from contemporary artist Kaws on characters from the children’s TV series and will debut June 29.

Sesame Street will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year more offerings and partnerships.

 

Hasbro, United Colors of Benetton Partner for Fashion Line

Hasbro_4c_noRHasbro will launch a multi-year deal with global fashion retailer Benetton Group to bring apparel and accessories featuring Hasbro brands to consumers worldwide. The first items will launch later this year in United Colors of Benetton’s fall and winter line. this year

The collections include My Little Pony and Transformers styles for infants and kids. Fashions inspired by other Hasbro brands will launch in Benetton’s spring and summer offerings for next year and following years.

The Hasbro collection will be available for purchase online and in stores.

Wild Kratts to Launch Apparel at Old Navy, Renews Multi-Year Partnerships

WildKrattsThis September, Wild Kratts will introduce a new range of T-shirts exclusively at Old Navy stores in the U.S., and later expand to Canada and other territories, as well as e-commerce. The new apparel offerings will include short-sleeved boys t-shirts in sizes 12 months to 5T beginning this fall. The Wild Kratts product range will later expand to Canada, other territories and e-commerce.

In addition, multi-year partnership renewals with Wicked Cool Toys will feature an expanded range in the U.S. and Canada, Pressman will add new puzzles and games, and Whole Foods Market will expand its products based on PBS KIDS series.

Cartoon Network Expands Licensing Programs for Ben 10, We Bare Bears, Steven Universe

Discovery Channel, Vineyard Vines Launch Shark Week Collection

Guru Studios Launches Licensing Program for True and the Rainbow Kingdom

TrueAndTheRainbowKingdomGuru Studio will debut a merchandising program for its new preschool series True and the Rainbow Kingdom, which airs on Netflix in the U.S. and CBC in Canada.

In addition to the previously announced master toy agreement with Toy State, the new licensing agreements include Palamon for costumes; American Marketing Enterprises for sleepwear; GBG Socks for hosiery; Chouette as master publishing partner; and Bendon Inc. for coloring books and art sets. H&M, Pink Panther Launch New Fashion Collection

pink pantherA Pink Panther fashion and accessories collection launches at H&M stores worldwide in a deal brokered by CPLG on behalf of Metro Goldwyn Mayer. The collection will feature the classic character on a range of products for children and adults. The first girlswear styles to arrive in stores include a short sleeve t-shirt and shorts set featuring a Pink Panther placement print and the iconic paw prints. Further styles will roll-out over the coming weeks.

The collection will be available in H&M stores across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North and South America and selected countries in Asia Pacific, as well as online.

LaurDIY signs with Pets First to Launch New Pet Line

LaurDIY and Moosie fans can even dress their dog to look like Moosie with one of the pet apparel styles and can wear matching outfits such as LaurDIY’s unicorn onesie, which will be offered in dog sizes.

Betty Boop Brand to Expand Globally

betty boopKing Features, the worldwide licensing agent for Betty Boop proprietor Fleischer Studios, will create more than a dozen deals in new territories worldwide, and new categories including sportswear, fine arts, and home décor.

Most recently, Betty Boop presented the design challenge on an episode of Project Runway All-Stars and was at the forefront of the all-inclusive fashion collection Betty Boop X Project Runway All-Stars, presented by Torrid. Territories where new deals will launch include in the U.S., Asia, European Union territories, and South America.

The Brand Liaison Builds Barbarian Brand

Licensing partners include Sakroots, Lang, Cranston, and Prima for table top, melamine, and wall art. Represented by The Brand Liaison, Barbarian features colorful bohemian patterns, florals, and watercolors.

The Brand Liaison is currently working with additional partners in home goods and developing apparel and accessory items for the collection.
