Pyramid International Launches Star Trek: The Original Series Art Prints

CBS Consumer Products and CPLG, its UK licensing representative, announce that Pyramid International has introduced the first sixteen designs from the Star Trek: The Original Series Art Prints Program.

The exclusive art prints, created by artist Juan Ortiz, include retro-style designs for each episode (including the first pilot) of Star Trek: The Original Series. Four new designs will be released each month with the first sixteen now available at

Pyramid has also released a limited edition boxed set featuring the first 12 prints plus an exclusive bonus print. Each set includes a booklet, providing details on each of the 30x40cm prints in the set. In honor of the Enterprise registry number, NCC-1701, there are only 1701 units available.

Ludorum Promotes UK Executives

Ludorum plc announces three UK promotions which are effective immediately.

Natalie Setton has been promoted from International Sales & Licensing Manager to Head of International Sales. Natalie will manage Ludorum’s international sales operations with particular emphasis on its Asian operations.  Natalie joined Ludorum in 2008 from TV Loonland where she held the position of Sales Executive for Asia.

Dawn Bushnell has been promoted from Product Development and Approval Manager to Senior Product Development and Approval Manager. Dawn will be working closely with TOMY to ensure that all future toy product development best reflects the new creative and marketing directions Ludorum is implementing for Chuggington. Dawn joined Ludorum in 2009 following three years at HIT Entertainment working across international territories for all brands including Thomas & Friends.

Laura Bond has been promoted from Associate Product Development and Approval Manager to Brand Executive. Laura will continue to support Dawn Bushnell in product development and will also report into Natalie Setton with brand management responsibilities for European markets including Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.  Laura joined Ludorum in 2010 as Creative Coordinator.

Discovery Communications Partners With Cohesion Products For Line of Animal Planet Garden Decorations

Discovery Communications has announced an agreement with Cohesion Products for a line of Animal Planet-branded garden flags and banners. The line is the latest addition to an assortment of Animal Planet lifestyle and pet product offerings.

Set to debut in the Fall of next year, the Animal Planet-branded flags will be available in two sizes, mini (12”x18″) and regular (28”x40″), and will feature various designs including holiday themes, photos of popular pets and more. The line will launch at a wide range of retail outlets including home store chains, mass, mid-tier and department stores, direct to consumer sales catalogs, warehouse membership clubs, independent specialty stores and e-commerce sites.

CPLG Secures New RFU Publishing Agreements

CPLG Sport, licensing agent for the Rugby Football Union (RFU), has recently brokered two publishing agreements for the England Rugby brand.

ProgrammeMaster is set to publish a full-color England Rugby magazine featuring all the latest news on the team, which will be published four times a year, with the first issue set to hit shelves in the coming weeks to tie in with the QBE Internationals.

In a renewal agreement, Haynes Publishing will produce an updated version of its Rugby Union Manual, which includes case studies and photographs of England’s current players, information on new rule changes, the latest on women’s rugby, and a foreword by England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster.
