The Jim Henson Co. Signs New Deals for Splash and Bubbles, Dot.

TheJimHensonCompany_DotThe Jim Henson Co. signed broadcast licensing deals with key international partners for two new preschool series, Splash and Bubbles, which airs in the U.S. on PBS KIDS, Dot., which airs in the U.S. on Sprout.

In Europe, Dot., was acquired by Piwi (France), Dreamia’s Canal Panda (Portugal), and SVT (Sweden), Jim Jam (MENA and Benelux territories), and Israel Education Television (Israel).

In Canada, public broadcasters TVO (Ontario) and Knowledge Network (British Columbia) acquired the broadcast rights to Splash and Bubbles.

Splash and Bubbles premiered last year on PBS KIDS and encourages kids ages 4 to 7 to explore the diversity and spectacle of our natural undersea world. Through humorous characters and fun-filled storylines, children learn more about our ocean and the diverse life teeming within it.

Dot. premiered last year on Canada’s CBC and on Sprout in the U.S. All past episodes of the series will stream exclusively on Hulu beginning April 15. Based on the picture book by New York Times bestselling author Randi Zuckerberg, Dot. follows the inquisitive and exuberant tech-savvy Dot, who embarks on hilarious adventures to satisfy her imagination, curiosity, and latest passion. Dot. is produced by Industrial Brothers in association with The Jim Henson Company and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).
