Wild Kratts to Launch Apparel at Old Navy, Renews Multi-Year Partnerships

The Wild Kratts product range will later expand to Canada, other territories and e-commerce.

In addition, multi-year partnership renewals with Wicked Cool Toys will feature an expanded range in the U.S. and Canada, Pressman will add new puzzles and games, and Whole Foods Market will expand its products based on PBS KIDS series.

The Jim Henson Co., Alchemy II Partner for New Teddy Ruxpin Series

The new series will feature toys from master toy partner Wicked Cool Toys, winner of the recent TOTY award for the 2017 Teddy Ruxpin relaunch. Show show will feature Russell Hicks as producer, who was also the original head illustrator for Alchemy II during Teddy Ruxpin’s initial launch. Wicked Cool Toys Named Master Toy Licensee for Kung Fu Pork Choppers

KungFuPorkChoppersCraneKahn appointed Wicked Cool Toys as master toy licensee for the animated series Kung Fu Pork Choppers. CraneKahn adapted hundreds of episodes of GG Bond, one of the top kid’s franchises in China, for a western audience, packaged under Kung Fu Pork Choppers brand name. The U.S. broadcaster for Kung Fu Pork Choppers will be announced later this year.

The Kung Fu Pork Choppers are a team of pigs-turned-superheroes who protect New Pork City from alien invasion. The series follows Hampton, Hamgelina, Glorious P.I.G., and the rest of the gang, as they take on any challenge.

Wicked Cool Toys, Crayola Partner for Plush Activity Line

WickedCoolToys_LogoWicked Cool Toys partnered with Crayola for a new line of plush and activities. The collection will include color-on plush that features Crayola washable markers, paints, and more.

Wicked Cool Toys will also develop a line of pixelated art puzzles and creative activities using slow-rise foam. The Color ‘N Plush product line will be available in the fall, and the pixelated art puzzles and slow-rise foam lines available at retail next year.

Wicked Cool Toys to Unveil Pokémon Product Line at Global Toy Fairs

WickedCool_LogoWicked Cool Toys will unveil its new Pokémon product line at the 2018 International Toy Fairs in London, Nuremberg, and New York. The company was awarded the master toy license from The Pokémon Co. International for the brand, and will deliver a line of action figures, plush, role play items, and other toys based on the Pokémon animated series.

This line is expected to arrive at retail locations in worldwide markets (excluding regions in Asia) in the fall.

MasterChef and MasterChef Junior Products Debut at Home + Housewares Show

Endemol Shine North America, producers of reality competition series MasterChef and MasterChef Junior, have partnered with Unibrands and Wicked Cool Toys to develop cooking product lines inspired by the Fox franchise. The product lines were showcased at the International Home + Housewares Show, held this week in Chicago.

Unibrands debuted MasterChef-inspired BBQ Grilling Sets and Accessories, new for this year. For any home cook or grill master looking to elevate their grilling equipment, the collection will include a spatula, tongs, fork, and basting brush with signature stainless steel and rubberized grip design. Grill accessories will include a grill light and covers, and oven mitts. Thermometers will also be part of the debut collection.

Wicked Cool Toys showcased kid-friendly cooking with real-play patterns into the housewares category. From burgers and pizza to baking and breakfast, kids can become the ultimate home cook with the MasterChef Junior-themed cooking sets. Each set includes real cooking tools, plating suggestions to create elevated dishes, and recipes for all skill levels: Line Cook, Sous Chef, and MasterChef. The cooking sets debuted in November exclusively at Walmart stores and are rolling out to additional retailers this year.

GBI, Mills Entertainment Partner for Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab Live Show

Genius Brands International Inc. (GBI) and Mills Entertainment partnered to create a live show based on animated series Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab. The Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab live show will run in major cities across the U.S. next year, and will incorporate original music by Ron Fair and his singer-songwriter wife Stefanie Fair.

GBI will also debut a new toy line from master toy partner Wicked Cool Toys in the fall. Mobile apps, games, activity kits, apparel, publishing, and an in-school curriculum program are set to launch next year.

GBI and NCircle Entertainment Debut First Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab DVD

Genius Brands International (GBI) and NCircle Entertainment have released the first DVD from Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab animated series that shows kids how much fun science can be. The DVD was released nationwide at Walmart stores and digitally on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and Hoopla on December 15.

The company will partner with Wicked Cool Toys to launch merchandise, including STEM-based toys next year.

Wicked Cool Toys to Produce Kid-Friendly Masterchef Junior Cooking Line

MasterchefJuniorWicked Cool Toys has signed a licensing agreement with Endemol Shine North America, the producers behind Fox’s Masterchef Junior, to create a line of kid-friendly cooking products inspired by the show. Designed to empower kids of all cooking levels, the toys will improve kids’ culinary skills while encouraging them to have fun in the kitchen. The line will launch exclusively at participating Wal-Mart stores in November.
