Precious Moments hits it big with Small Hands Bible for Girls

The Precious Moments Small Hands Bible for girls has made the top 20 bestseller list of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA), appearing at number 18 for the month of February, 2010. The Small Hands Bibles were also on Parable Stores bestseller list from October through January.

These Bibles, designed specifically for children, feature Samuel J. Butcher’s renowned artwork and are published by Precious Moments licensee Tommy Nelson, the children’s division of Thomas Nelson. “We could not be more pleased with the progress and success of these Bibles,” states Susan Meek, Vice President of Licensing for Precious Moments. “This has proven to be a wonderful partnership as we work together to share a wonderful message with today’s children,” she continues.

Precious Moments and Baby Boom Sign Licensing Deal

Precious Moments, Inc. has announced a recent licensing agreement with New York-based Baby Boom Consumer Products, a Betesh Group company. Under the agreement, Baby Boom, known as a “one stop shop for all Mom’s nursery needs,” will develop and distribute a line of baby bedding and room décor featuring Precious Moments artwork.

“We are very excited to partner with Baby Boom, well known for their strong retail distribution and wonderful quality products. Baby products have been a successful component of the Precious Moments product line since the inception of the collection in 1978, and this new partnership will continue that tradition,”  says Susan Meek, Vice president of licensing at PMI.

“The brand has a rich history that resonates with today’s moms and caregivers and we are looking forward to creating wholesome bedding collections that bring the purity and simplicity of the brand to the nursery,” says Dara Shapiro, director, licensing and marketing for Baby Boom.

Precious Moments baby products by Baby Boom are available in K-mart stores nationwide now and will be at Walmart stores in June.
