eOne, Merlin Entertainments Enter Global Partnership to Develop New Peppa Pig Attractions

eOne_MerlinEntertainment One (eOne) entered a global partnership with Merlin Entertainments (Merlin) to develop and operate location-based entertainment attractions based on its popular preschool license Peppa Pig.

eOne Expands Peppa Pig Licensing Partnership with New and Current Partners

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne) renewed and added additional Peppa Pig licensees for new product debuts at retail next year.

New Peppa Pig products from existing products include a 2-in-1 kid-sized Flip-Open Sofa with removable and machine-washable slipcover from Spin Master; backpacks and lunch bags from Accessory Innovations; digital watches from Accutime; a bedding set from Baby Boom; new bedding and bath collections from Character World in Partnership with Franco Manufacturing Co. Inc.; and underwear for girls and toddlers from Handcraft.

Newly-appointed licensees Berskshire Fashions and Hamco Inc. will introduce a cold weather set from and toddler bibs and table toppers, respectively.

The Peppa Pig preschool entertainment brand continues to generate more than $1.2 billion in global retail sales per year. The brand has more than 1,000 licensees worldwide. The show airs in more than 180 territories and has been translated in more than 40 languages.

eOne Unveils Expansion and New Rides at Peppa Pig World

PeppaPigWorldEntertainment One (eOne) revealed plans to expand Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park theme park in Hampshire, UK. The attraction will soon feature two new rides—The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club—that will open to the public in May.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride will take families on a tour around the newly extended area of Peppa Pig World in individual coaches on a monorail starting from the top of the Queen’s castle. Guests will also be able to hop aboard boats at Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club where they can cruise along the new water route around Peppa Pig World and discover Pirate Island. Peppa Pig Live Adds Tour Dates for Next Year

PeppaPigLiveThe new North American Peppa Pig Live tour Peppa Pig’s Surprise will visit an additional 33 cities next year. Following a 60-city leg this fall, Peppa Pig’s Surprise will resume next April in Las Vegas and make its first trip to New York City. The show will also visit 18 cities in Canada, including Toronto. Peppa Pig Live brand has sold more than 400,000 tickets in the U.S. and Canada to date.

Citi is the official card of Peppa Pig’s Surprise, and cardmembers will have access to a pre-sale as well as VIP packages, including a meet and greet with the cast. eOne Expands Peppa Pig and PJ Masks Properties in the Nordic Region

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne) will expand its Peppa Pig and PJ Masks brands on-air and at retail across Nordic territories. Plus Licens represents the consumer products programs for both of the preschool brands, and will introduce new categories across the region this year.

Peppa Pig airs across four terrestrial state broadcasters in Norway (NRK), Denmark (DR), Finland (YLE), and Sweden (SVT). A publishing program is established in Finland, Norway, Otava, and Gyldendal, where Peppa Pig story books and novelty formats are available. In Finland, more than 45,000 copies of Peppa Pig books have been sold in three years, and the first published titles will rollout in Denmark and Forlaget Alvilda later this year. Additional categories to launch in the Nordic region beginning this September include, Clementoni, Amo, and Barbo Toys for puzzles and games; HAMA for plastic bead sets; and Bjørna for nightlights. eOne Cracks Down on Counterfeit Merchandise and Unlicensed Events for Peppa Pig and PJ Masks

eOneEntertainment One Licensing (eOne) today outlined the stance it will take to reduce the global sale of counterfeit merchandise and unlicensed events for Peppa Pig and PJ Masks.

Beginning this year, eOne seized more than 250,000 counterfeit products globally via port seizures and market raids, and removed more than 50,000 infringing listings on more than 40 leading e-commerce platforms including Alibaba, Mercado Libre, and Amazon. eOne also enforced against social media platforms, removing more than 1,000 infringements across iTunes, GooglePlay, and YouTube. eOne’s Peppa Pig Takes Home Trio of Awards at Multimir Children’s Festival

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne)’s Peppa Pig won three awards at Multimir’s inaugural awards ceremony, which kicked off on May 31 and ran until June 4 in Moscow.

eOne Adds Content, New Global Partners for Peppa Pig

Peppa Pig logoEntertainment One (eOne) started production on a new series of Peppa Pig. The show’s animation studio, Astley Baker Davies, will produce the new series, bringing the total number of Peppa Pig episodes to 381.

New episodes from Series 7 continue to roll out on air to the end of 2018. The 117 new episodes currently in production will then launch on air globally from Spring 2019, to coincide with the brand’s 15th anniversary and will secure a pipeline of Peppa Pig content over the following four years.
