HBO Global Licensing, GES Events Partner for Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition

HBO Global Licensing, Vintage Wine Estates Partner for Game of Thrones Wine Collection

GameOfThronesWineHBO Global Licensing and Vintage Wine Estates released a wine collection based off of the HBO drama Game of Thrones.

The line includes Chardonnay, Red Blend, and Cabernet Sauvignon made by Vintage Wine Estates and winemaker Bob Cabral. Cabral crafted more than 100 wines scoring 95 points or higher on the 100-point scale. The sigil’s of the different houses inspired Cabral’s collection. Read the rest of this entry »

Game of Thrones Window Promotion On Display at HBO Shop In Manhattan

HBO Global Licensing is running a Game of Thrones window promotion at its flagship HBO Shop in Manhattan. The window display on 42nd Street will announce “winter is coming,” and will mimic the snowscaped regions in the TV series with both textured backdrops and a coordinated LED screen that will run a loop of the show’s infamous White Wall.

The window showcase will include a portion of the Game of Thrones merchandising program highlighting products including, the Inside HBO’s Game of Thrones book, character Vinyl Figures, Direwolf bookends, the Daenerys sculpted bust, glassware, character apparel, and more. The promotion will run throughout the month of December.

HBO’s True Blood Inspires Beauty Collection

HBO Global Licensing has aligned with Forsaken, LLC, a specialty licensing partnership created by Multi Media Exposure and Virtue Development, to create a one-of-a-kind luxury collection. The unique collection of beauty products is inspired by the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning hit series True Blood, and includes the Forsaken signature fragrance created by Givaudan, beauty products from Deborah Lippmann, and home fragrances from D.L & Co.

Forsaken will be available to consumers in an Eau de Parfum, a body cream, and shimmering body veil powder. The Forsaken fragrance will be incorporated into a nail lacquer developed by world-renowned celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann. The lacquer carries the fragrance “Let It Bleed” and is part of a combination set with a coordinating lipstick named “Bite Me.” Lippmann also created two additional sets for the collection: “Sookie Sookie” featuring full-size “Human Nature,” “Fairydust,” and “Bad Things”; and a trio of minis including “Strange Love,” “New Flesh,” and “Bad Blood.”

Rounding out the collection is a specialty line of home products from high-end home fragrance company D. L. & Co., which includes luxury candles and diffusers with the Forsaken scent developed by Givaudan. The line will launch exclusively on HSN, on, and via HSN mobile beginning August 9, in conjunction with the show’s fifth season. The collection will be available from the HBO Shop in September and will follow with worldwide distribution at specialty retailers later this year.
