Genius Brands Expands Licensing Partners for Rainbow Rangers Retail Launch Next Year

RainbowRangersGenius Brands International Inc. continues to grow its range of licensing partners in support of next year’s Rainbow Rangers retail launch based on its new original preschool series by the same name. The CGI-animated series is currently in production on season one, and will premiere in fall 2018 on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr.

Genius Brands Launches Baby Genius On Xfinity On Demand

The new destination will be available on Xfinity on Demand, and will include the animated series such as, The Adventures of Paddington Bear, Rainbow Valley Fire Department, Baby Prodigy, Igloo-Gloo, Pirates Adventures in Art, So! Smart, and Todd World. Initially, about 10 new series will be added to Xfinity on Demand.

 

Genius Brands Expands Licensing Program for New Preschool Series Rainbow Rangers

Rainbow Rangers newGenius Brands International Inc. continues to build the licensing program for its animated preschool series Rainbow Rangers with the appointment of new licensees, including Global Design Concepts Inc. for bags and luggage, Handcraft for underwear, and Taste Beauty for bath and beauty products.

Currently in development on season one and two Rainbow Rangers is slated to premiere next with a retail program spearheaded by master toy partner Fisher-Price Toys. Previously announced licensing partners include H.E.R. Accessories for accessories), Bentex for apparel) and Franco Manufacturing for bedding and home décor.

Rainbow Rangers is a behind-the-curtain peek at the lives of Earth’s First Responders whose mission is to help protect the earth’s environment and its animal inhabitants. The series blends fantasy and action-adventure with relatable stories about friendship and saving the environment.

 

Genius Brands Promotes Two Executives to SVP

GeniusBrands_SVPGenius Brands International Inc. promoted two of its top executives. Kid Genius Cartoon Channel president Deb Pierson was named as SVP, global content distribution and marketing, and Lloyd Mintz was promoted to SVP of worldwide consumer products. The announcement was made today by Genius Brands’ chairman and CEO Andy Heyward, to whom both report directly.

In her new role, Pierson will be charged with oversight of Genius Brand’s global content distribution business for its catalog of animation properties, including SpacePOP, Llama Llama, Rainbow Rangers, Baby Genius, Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, and Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab. SpacePOPPop Warner Little Scholars Inc. named Genius Brands International Inc.’s series SpacePOP as the official music provider for Pop Warner Little Scholars Cheer and Dance program, engaging participants and audience of 325,000 Pop Warner student-athletes across the U.S.

SpacePOP music will be utilized in Pop Warner’s dance and cheerleading workshops, camps, games, and at competitions across the country through the end of the year, culminating in the national championships to be broadcast across ESPN networks.

SpacePOP: Not Your Average Princesses Hits the Big Screen for One-Day Event

SpacePOPPresented by Fathom Events and Genius Brands International, SpacePOP: Not Your Average Princesses will be shown in movie theaters nationwide for one day only on September 16 at 10:30 a.m. local time. This is the first time the series will be shown in an extended format. Audiences will also get an exclusive sneak peek at season two, a chance to new music videos, and other surprises.
