The Sandlot Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory Exhibit

TheSandlot_AnniversaryTo celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Sandlot, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment partnered with Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory for an exclusive exhibit that features authentic props from the movie, artwork, and behind-the-scenes photography. The exhibit will be open from March 31 to September 9.

Items from the movie that will be showcased in the exhibit include, the Babe Ruth baseball that had to be retrieved from The Beast; Squints’ eyeglasses; Louisville Slugger bats swung by the team; the Wheaties box periscope from the treehouse; and items from Mr. Mertle’s home. HBO Global Licensing, GES Events Partner for Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition

GameofThronesInspired by the HBO series Game of Thrones, a new exhibition will feature authentic props, costumes, and set decorations from the show. In collaboration with HBO Global Licensing, global events provider GES will design and build the interactive experience and will exclusively tour the exhibition to worldwide destinations beginning this fall. Snoopy & Belle in Fashion to Kick Off Multicity Tour in the U.S.

SnoopyAndBelleThe international fashion exhibit Snoopy & Belle in Fashion will come to the U.S. this year for a multicity tour that will launch on Feb. 14 at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. The tour will conclude in the fall in New York City during New York Fashion Week.

Jurassic World: The Exhibition Opens its Gates at The Franklin Institute

WBCP Appoints Peter Van Roden as Senior Vice President, Global Themed Entertainment


Peter van Roden was appointed senior vice president, global themed entertainment for Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP).

In his new role, Van Roden will develop and implement global entertainment strategies that benefit long-term brand building and revenue growth, including theme parks, themed entertainment attractions, exhibitions, and live events worldwide.

WBCP’s global themed entertainment offering includes The Wizarding World of Harry PotterHarry Potter: The Exhibition, DC Comics’ inspired exhibitions, Looney Tunes’ beloved animated characters, and more.

Previously Van Roden worked as the vice president of themed entertainment at Sesame Workshop. He  also worked as the senior vice president of global experiences and events at National Geographic.
