Epic Rights, Merch By Amazon to Launch Apparel and Accessories

EpicRightsEpic Rights partnered with Merch by Amazon to sell Epic Rights’ artists official apparel and cellphone accessories on Amazon.com. The initial product launch includes classic and fashionable shirts for men, women, and kids, featuring graphics from KISS, Aerosmith, and John Lennon.

Epic Rights will add product categories to the program and build out programs for its complete roster of artists, including AC/DC, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Def Leppard, Celine Dion, ZZ Top, Duran Duran, Wham!, Marc Anthony, Sting, Cypress Hill, Lionel Richie, Lyrics by Lennon & McCartney, Woodstock Festival, and more.

Sony/ATV Names Epic Rights as Global Licensing Agent for Lennon-McCartney Song Catalog

Epic Rights will develop the worldwide licensing program for lyrics written by Lennon & McCartney by signing licensees and retailers in apparel, home furnishings, wall art, stationery, and gift products.

The songwriting partnership of John Lennon and Paul McCartney produced more than 180 songs between 1962 and 1969. These comprise the Northern Songs Lennon-McCartney song catalog, owned by Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

The company will present the brand at the upcoming Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.

Celine Dion Partners Epic Rights, Prominent Brand + Talent to Launch Lifestyle Collection

Celine Dion joined hands with Epic Rights and Prominent Brand + Talent in a multi-year agreement to launch Celine Dion lifestyle products and services, including health and beauty, home furnishings, and fashion and accessories.

Celine Dion’s brand will evoke her style and attention to detail displayed in her music, concerts, and charitable activities.

Dion has sold more than 240 million records during her more than 30-year long career and recently received the Icon Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards event in Las Vegas.

AC/DC Expands Globally by Clinching Innovative Brand Partnerships

Epic Rights and Perryscope Productions are expanding AC/DC’s licensing program in new territories and emerging categories, including Tilibra Produtos for stationery in Brazil and Paraguay, Toxic for apparel in Mexico, Top Ten for apparel in South Korea, Boab Tree for a ready to drink bourbon and cola in Australia and New Zealand, and Bengy and Co.for apparel in Italy.

The emerging categories AC/DC is entering include Energis for high voltage branded electricity services, Husky Deutschland GmbH for refrigerators, Fabrica de Tequilas Finos for Tequila, Fire Design for fire extinguishers, Four Seasons for electronics, Trick or Treat Studios for masks and costumes, Wish Factory for pet and automotive products, Warburn Estate for wine, and Scandinavian Travel for luggage.

Recently, AC/DC set all new records in ticket sales and concert merchandise sales on their sold out Rock or Bust World Tour at stadiums and venues in Europe and North America.  The band’s record-breaking tour concludes in Australia on December 8.

Sammy Hagar has partnered with Epic Rights and PROMINENT Brand + Talent to launch a worldwide brand strategy and develop a wide-ranging licensing program for Hagar’s Sammy’s Island lifestyle brand.

Sammy’s Island is described as a visual blend of the best of Cabo and Maui’s tropical, laid-back, lush, and vibrant patterns and colors that instantly transport consumers to the island life, albeit with a splash of Hagar’s rock ‘n’ roll sensibility. Products will be designed to embody the spirit of stress-free island-style living, in categories that will initially include outdoor furniture, electronics, food, entertaining, beach wear, footwear, table top, jewelry, and wall art, among others.
