eOne’s Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience: Peppa’s Australian Holiday marked the theatrical debut for Peppa Pig in Australia, where the release hit 241 screens across the country and debuted at no. 6 in the overall box office chart. Since it opened last month, the release has earned box office receipts of AUS $2.16 million.
The Peppa Pig My First Cinema Experience also premiered on April 7 in the UK screening in more than 500 cinemas nationwide. Entertainment One (eOne) outlined plans to strengthen its brands in Latin America with a new appointment to manage its portfolio for TV properties including, Peppa Pig, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom, and PJ Masks.

Entertainment One (eOne) partnered with Youth Sport Trust (YST) for its animated TV property, PJ Masks, to become a brand ambassador for YST’s work with kids in the UK.

Entertainment One (eOne) shares plans for the retail launch of Peppa Pig in India. The TV series made its broadcast debut in the country last summer on VOOT Kids, the video on demand (VoD) destination by Viacom18 for kids’ content in India. Peppa Pig also made its debut on Nickelodeon preschool channel Nick Jr. India this month.

Jazwares will be the master toy licensee for Entertainment One (eOne)’s Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom. The line will be available in August in the U.S. and will target preschoolers. The debut collection will include figures, accessories, multi-packs, vehicles, and play sets.
Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom premiered in in the U.S. in October 2015 on Nick Jr. The series follows Holly, a young fairy princess who is still learning how to fly and whose magic doesn’t always go quite according to plan. Her best friend, Ben the Elf, doesn’t have wings or do magic, but he is very good at making things, especially toys. The series is targeted to kids ages 3 to 6.
Cartoon Network in France and public broadcaster OUFtivi in Belgium acquired broadcast rights Entertainment One (eOne)’s new 2D-animated comedy series Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong. The show will begin airing in February in France and in June in Belgium.

Entertainment One (eOne) signed Raj Yoyo as a new free to air broadcast partner in Italy for PJ Masks. It will debut this month with episodes that will air four times a day.
eOne also appointed ETS Italy to manage the brand’s consumer products program in the region. Giochi Preziosi will distribute Just Play’s master toy line which will include action figures, play sets, vehicles, plush, dress-up, and role-play items that will be available next year. Italian publisher La Coccinella will publish a line of book formats in the spring, and Gedis has signed for sticker albums. The apparel, games, back-to-school, and stationery categories are in negotiation.
