The retail tracking information, compiled by The NPD Group, confirms that L.O.L. Surprise! ranks among the top toy brands and was the No. 2 toy in retail sales in the U.S. YTD April.In Belgium, L.O.L. Surprise! was ranked as the No. 1 doll YTD April. In France, L.O.L. Surprise! held firmly to the No. 1 ranked position for April and became the country’s second most popular play set dolls and collectibles in YTD April in retail sales. In the U.K., L.O.L. DC Super Hero Girls follows female Super Heroes and Super-Villains of the DC universe during their high school years, before they discover their full super power potential. Each character has their own storyline that explores what teen life is like as a Super Hero, including discovering unique abilities, nurturing powers, and mastering the fundamentals of being a hero.

The DC Super Hero Girls line will be available at retailers this fall.

Auldey Toys Enchants with New Line of Regal Academy Fashion Dolls

Regal AcademyAuldey Toys of North America will be the master toy licensee for Regal Academy, an animated television series created by Rainbow and currently airing on Nickelodeon.

Designed for kids ages five and older, the full line of fashion dolls will launch next year and will include TV and marketing support. The Regal Academy toy line will be unveiled at this month’s Fall Toy Preview in Dallas.

MGA Relaunches Bratz with a Fresh Look

The Bratz brand is back in the market with a new look and a line of products revamped to capture the imagination of the modern-day girl. MGA Entertainment has entered multiple licensing agreements to launch a diverse range of Bratz products.

Accessory Innovations will create Bratz inspired fashion accessories. The new line of products including handbags, backpacks, lunch totes, water bottles, luggage, small leather goods, cosmetic bags, gadget bags, and umbrellas will launch next year in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Charmsies will bring an assortment of hair charms and stickers for girls in the U.S.

High Point Design will create a range of Bratz consumer products, including, socks, slippers, leggings, and tights, that draw inspiration from the Bratz doll lines. These products will launch next year.
