Peanuts, Uniqlo to Launch New Kaws X Peanuts UT Collection

PeanutsLogoUniqlo will release a second Peanuts collection for the brand’s UT (Uniqlo T-shirts) range with New York-based artist Kaws. The collection will feature all-black, NYC-inspired designs in honor of Black Friday. Items will be available for men, women, and kids at most Uniqlo stores nationwide and at uniqlo.com in late November.

 The collection will feature four styles for men and children and two styles for women. Snoopy plush toys that feature Kaws’ signature crossed-out eyes will also be available in large and small sizes.

The first Kaws × Peanuts UT collection launched last spring.

CPLG to Represent Yale University Across Europe

Yale_CPLGCPLG was appointed by Yale University to represent the university’s brand across Europe and Russia. Founded in 1701, Yale is an American Ivy league university based in New Haven, Connecticut.

CPLG will develop a licensing program that targets adults, teens, and kids across apparel, accessories, bags, and stationery. Products will feature the Yale branding, including its logos and the university’s mascot, Handsome Dan the bulldog. Universal Music Spain signed as the first licensee and will offer a range of men’s apparel in Zara stores worldwide this month.

 

The Tetris Co., Bioworld Europe Partner for Apparel and Accessories Range

BioworldEuropeThe Tetris Co. LLC appointed Bioworld Europe as its new apparel and accessory licensee for Europe and the Middle East. Bioworld Europe will create a line of Tetris branded clothing and gear including T-shirts, hoodies, leggings, sleepwear, headwear, bags, belts, and more. The new products are expected to launch later this year.

 

Condé Nast, Pixels Partner for Print-on-Demand Products

CONdeNastCondé Nast partnered with Pixels.com to transform more than 40,000 images from Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Vogue, GQ, and more into wall art. Some images are also available as home décor, fashion accessories, and apparel.  Products are available to purchase through Pixels.comCondeNastStore.com, and NewYorkerStore.com.

Pixels designs, builds, and maintains a massive e-commerce storefront, which transforms magazine covers and editorial photos from Condé Nast’s brands into a variety of unique wall art and products. Pixels provides the technology to power the Condé Nast website, produces each product on-demand at one of its 14 production facilities, and then ships orders directly to Condé Nast buyers all over the world.

CapnCrunchCap’n Crunch selected the global brand consultancy Brand Central LLC to extend the brand into select merchandise and food categories. The brand will extend into categories including apparel, accessories, collectibles, and a range of consumables.

Bobby Abley Launches Teletubbies Collection at London Fashion Week Men’s

teletubbylineCopyright Promotions Licensing Group has brokered a deal, on behalf of DHX Brands, with UK menswear designer Bobby Abley to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Teletubbies.

Bobby Abley has created a Teletubbies-themed capsule range as part of his spring and summer collection for next year. The collection was unveiled during his catwalk show at London Fashion Week Men’s.

The line includes daywear and loungewear pieces, with a few womenswear additions. The collection features designs inspired by 90s nostalgia and incorporates the fun and colorful nature of the characters.

 

CPLG Adds Three New Space Invaders Partners

SpaceInvadersCPLG signed three new licensees for the video game Space Invaders to create lines for apparel and footwear. Fashion UK is on board to create Space Invaders footwear for both kids and adults, CWI will launch nightwear and underwear and has confirmed listings at George at Asda, and Fabric Flavours will launch kids’ daywear. All three are set to launch throughout this year.

Trademark Products, an existing licensee, confirmed new listings for its apparel and accessories range with GAME, Sainsbury’s, and Pulp for AW 2017.

Tour de France, Sports Direct Partner for Apparel Collection

CPLGCPLG brokered a deal with Sports Direct and Tour de France this month to create Tour de France apparel for the annual bicycle race. This year, the race departs from Dusseldorf on July 1 and ends in Paris.

The apparel will range from hoodies, T-shirts, and polo shirts for both men and women and will feature the Tour de France logo. The range is available in stores and online this month through July.

YouTuber LaurDIY, The Kersheh Group Partner for Sleepwear Line

LaurDIYYouTube star LaurDIY signed a sleepwear partnership with The Kersheh Group, who owns and produces Sleep Riot. The LaurDIY sleepwear launch will include signature onesies featuring a narwhal and other kawaii animals.

The deal comes just after LaurDIY’s launch of custom PopSockets. PopSockets sold thousands of units within hours of its launch.
