Boat Rocker and Industrial Brothers named Fisher-Price master toy partner for the new original series Kingdom Force.
Kingdom Force was created by Industrial Brothers’ Matt Fernandes and will be co-produced by Industrial Brothers and Boat Rocker Studios. Boat Rocker will distribute the series internationally and manage the merchandising and licensing for the brand on all platforms, as well as leading the digital and brand initiatives. FremantleMedia Kids & Family (FMK) and Thomas Cook partnered to bring Danger Mouse activities to the Thomas Cook and Airtours kids’ clubs this summer.
Forty Thomas Cook and Airtours kids’ clubs will feature special Danger Mouse-themed two-hour sessions, with secret activities that revolve around the TV series. The partnership will kickoff in July and continue until September. The initiative is expected to reach approximately 65,000 children from the UK traveling on holiday with Thomas Cook. Hasbro Inc. was named global master toy licensee by Sutikki, the new kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment. The line of toys will based on the new preschool series, Moon and Me from Andrew Davenport’s Foundling Bird.
Inspired by tales of toys that come to life when nobody is looking, Moon and Me is the comical story of a special friendship between two characters from completely different worlds. Thomas & Friends, from Mattel Inc., kicked off its first global brand campaign with a year-long marketing program, Set Friendship in Motion.
The campaign aims to help preschoolers strengthen friendship skills, such as collaboration, communication, sharing, manners, kindness, and the abilities to express and understand feelings and emotions. UK and LA based independent film and TV producer Komixx Entertainment Ltd. secured a development deal with BBC Worldwide for Stanley the Can-Do Hamster. The animated TV series is based on the Stanley picture books by children’s author and illustrator William Bee.
BBC Worldwide will be the executive producers on the animated series and have exclusive rights to all other IP business rights globally, including transmitting the series on their worldwide Cbeebies channels.
