Shout! Factory and UYoung partnered to bring preschool series P. King Duckling to the home entertainment marketplace in North America. This multi-year alliance provides Shout! Factory with exclusive home entertainment distribution rights (DVD and EST) in the U.S. and Canada for all 26 half-hour episodes of the first season of P. King Duckling.
Shout! Factory will plan a strategic rollout of this series, beginning in September through Shout’s kids and family imprint, Shout! Factory Kids. Leading up to the Guardians Of The Galaxy, Vol. 2 premiere on May 5, Marvel announced the global #GrootDancebomb challenge. Working with the Disney Conservation Fund to support forest restoration through The Nature Conservancy, the challenge blends surprise and dance during Earth Month.
Marvel gave YouTube personality Dominic “D-trix” Sandoval an early look at Groot and his new dancing toy line, and challenged him to create a Groot-inspired dance move, marking the first #GrootDancebomb. Set to debut in the fall, Star Trek Deep Space Nine Adventure will allow players to take lead of the U.S.S. Defiant and battle their way to victory through immersive ship-to-ship combat.
