Angela Wilson, CHF Media Launche Swimstylers

Screen Shot 2018-06-13 at 10.36.01 AMFollowing a successful launch at BAFTA Club on Friday, former Team GB international swimmer Angela Wilson (née Pendrich) will launch Swimstylers, a new swimming program designed for kids ages 4 months to 12 years old devised in conjunction with CHF Media (Daisy & Ollie, Pip Ahoy!).

The Swimstylers program launches in fourteen of Angela’s swim school franchises including Kent, London, Essex, East Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire. Wilson has worked closely with CHF Media to develop a series of inspirational characters.  The goal of the program is to teach children to swim with the correct technique while teaching them valuable life skills to help them improve their physical and emotional well being. They will also learn water safety and respect.

Swimstylers has five inspirational animated child characters which help to structure the five-staged program, making it encouraging and engaging. The hope is that children aspire to be like the characters and improve with style, confidence, and technique as they progress through the character badge-based system.

New Level Introduced to Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

Screen Shot 2018-06-13 at 10.32.25 AMActivision Publishing Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard Inc. is introducing a new level called “Future Tense.” On June 29, the Future Tense level will be included as a bonus in the Crash Bandicoot  3: Warped game of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, Future Tense brings an extra layer of difficulty to Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped’s Future world, as players dodge rockets, destroy robots and leap over lasers while ascending a massive futuristic skyscraper. This new level pays homage to the unreleased Waterfall level from the original Crash Bandicoot game.

Future Tense will be accessible via a new platform in the Warp Room of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and playable at any point in the game’s progression. Fans on new platforms will also receive Stormy Ascent as a bonus level starting June 29th. Existing Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy owners on PlayStation 4 can download Stormy Ascent as a bonus level at no additional charge from the PlayStation Store.

 

Masha and the Bear to Premiere FIFA World Cup Specials

MashaAndTheBear_FIFAAnimaccord and will release exclusive, 3-D animated content for Masha and the Bear in celebration of the FIFA World Cup. The series of short cartoons will discuss topics that teach kids how to play fair, promote gender equality in sports, and respect other opponents.

Animaccord will release the specials on the Masha and the Bear YouTube channel within the YouTube Kids app in Russian, English, German, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.

Nickelodeon International Launches Dora’s Worldwide Adventure, Nick Football Champions Apps

Nick_FootballNickelodeon International launched two new apps: Dora’s Worldwide Adventure and Nick Football Champions. Both apps are available in 12 languages and accessible to markets outside of the U.S. via the iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon stores.

Dora’s Worldwide Adventure introduces preschoolers to geography, inviting them to learn and celebrate different cultures with Dora, Boots, Swiper, and more. Insect Lore, World of Eric Carle Partner for Insect Kits

The American Outdoorsman, LJO Partner for Footwear Line

TheAmericanOutdoorsmanOutdoor apparel brand The American Outdoorsman partnered with shoe manufacturer LJO to create a new footwear collection. The partnership marks the brand’s first licensing agreement, and will see LJO produce men’s, women’s, and kid’s footwear across all core outdoor activities, including hiking, trail running, winter boots, and water sandals.

The initial The American Outdoorsman footwear collection will be available next spring at select footwear and outdoor specialty stores, as well as at amazon.com and americanoutdoorsmangear.com.

Sanrio Launches Makeup Collection, Digital Stickers

Additionally, Sanrio teamed up with Quidd to develop limited-edition, rare digital stickers, trading cards, and toys. The first edition is available for purchase through the Quidd app on iOS and Andriod devices.

Rovio Entertainment Debuts New Angry Birds YouTube Series to Celebrate the World Cup

Rovio_AngryBirds_BirldCupRovio Entertainment will launch Angry Birds: BirLd Cup, a live-action hybrid series on the Angry Birds YouTube channel to celebrate the FIFA World Cup. The YouTube-exclusive series premiered on June 9, with new episodes airing every Wednesday and Saturday for the following five weeks through July 13. The episodes will also be featured on the YouTube Kids app beginning June 14.
