The National Wildlife Federation signed new licensing partnerships to expand its Ranger Rick brand across digital, print, and kid-focused products. Partners include MerryMakers Inc., Ruckus Learning, Sage Licensing Group and Playlife Co., Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores, Once Kids, and The Quarto Group. The announcement was made during the North American Toy Fair 2017 in New York City.
Since January 1967, Ranger Rick has introduced children and their families to the wonders of wildlife and nature through the National Wildlife Federation’s Ranger Rick magazine. The Ranger Rick brand now includes Ranger Rick magazines, as well as book collections and educational resources. The partnerships will increase the reach of Ranger Rick and his friends with experiences that help kids of all ages learn about, explore, and protect our natural world.
The National Wildlife Federation’s new licensing partners for the Ranger Rick brand are Merry Makers Inc. for plush dolls; Ruckus Learning for storybook learning apps; Sage Licensing Group and Playlife Co. for interactive and digital experiences; Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores for promotional campaigns;Once Kids for wood toys; and The Quarto Group for books.
