Fred Rogers Co. Appoints HiHat Media to Expand Peg + Cat Brand

The Fred Rogers Co. has appointed HiHat Media to lead the U.S. branding licensing initiatives for its multi-Emmy award-winning PBS Kids series, Peg + Cat. HiHat Media will develop a broad consumer products campaign based on the highly rated math-based series for children and their families.

HiHat plans to kick off the Peg + Cat consumer products program with a master toy licensee, as well as partners in the apparel, bedding, stationery, gift categories, and more. Additional Peg + Cat licensees will be announced soon.

Peg + Cat follows Peg and her loyal sidekick, Cat as they embark on musical adventures, learning foundational math concepts along the way. Each episode features stories in which Peg and Cat encounter a problem that requires them to use math and problem solving skills to move the story forward.
