Fandango will debut the Fandango FanShop, its first online merchandise store, that offers a curated collection of wearables, collectibles, experiences, and events tied to theatrical releases and movie franchises. Moose Toys announced plans for its new toy line based on the mobile game Disney Crossy Road. In the game, players hop, dodge, and slide their way through busy lanes of traffic. Since its launch a year ago, it has been downloaded more than 31 million times.
The initial collection from Moose Toys will feature Disney and Pixar characters from the app including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Buzz Lightyear, Simba, Baymax, and more. The line will include collectible micro figures, backpack hangers, and plush, and will be available at select retailers beginning April 1.
Boat Rocker and Industrial Brothers named Fisher-Price master toy partner for the new original series Kingdom Force.
Kingdom Force was created by Industrial Brothers’ Matt Fernandes and will be co-produced by Industrial Brothers and Boat Rocker Studios. Boat Rocker will distribute the series internationally and manage the merchandising and licensing for the brand on all platforms, as well as leading the digital and brand initiatives. Roblox announced the closing of a $92 million investment, which will be put toward enhancing the platform’s infrastructure and recruiting talent. The new funding follows the company’s rebranding and an online to offline expansion with a first-ever user-generated toy line from Jazwares.
The Roblox and Jazwares toy line will feature popular user-generated characters. The line is available at Toys “R” Us, additional retailers, and online at www.roblox.com and www.jazwares.com. The deal marks the beginning of an offline strategy that will bring Roblox to retail.
Jakks Pacific debuted its line of toys inspired by the upcoming live-action film Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. The collection includes Enchanted Rose Jewelry Box, Enchanted Objects Tea Set, Belle’s Ball Gown, Belle’s Dress Up Accessory Set, Ballroom Belle, and Baby Belle.

Jakks Pacific Inc. renewed its mult-year licensing agreement with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media in China for merchandising rights for more than 50 properties.
The agreement includes Disney princess and Disney Frozen for the large doll category, plus new entertainment properties including Disney’s Moana and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. The deal also covers dress-up, role-play, costumes, and masks and accessories, as well as properties for Disney Tsum Tsum collectibles, action figures, ride-ons, and wagons.
