Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique, a division of Rubie’s Costume Co. Inc., will unveil new styles and licenses at the Global Pet Expo, which takes place from March 22 to the 24 in Orlando. With the addition of new costumes and accessories, Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique will also debut new styles that include: Transformers, Barbie and My Little Pony.
This year, Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutiques will add new costumes for Star Wars, DC Comics, and Marvel licenses, as well as for seasonal holidays.
Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique is located in Booth 4027 at Global Pet Expo at the Orange County Convention Center. Global Pet Expo is the pet industry’s largest annual trade show and is listed in Tradeshow Week 200.
The Rainbow Fish will join participants at Copper Mountain’s annual World’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt on April 16. The Rainbow Fish will hold a special breakfast event before the Easter Egg Hunt. Parents and children will be able to take photos with the Rainbow Fish and win prizes and copies of The Rainbow Fish books and merchandise.
The Rainbow Fish book series has sold more than 30 million copies, and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The Rainbow Fish series was the first book to use holographic foil, which makes Rainbow Fish shimmer and mirrors his movement. Rubie’s Pet Shop Boutique partnered with Hasbro Inc. to launch pet costumes inspired by Transformers and My Little Pony. Both brands will debut movies later this year.
The Transformers line includes Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee, both which come with a shirt and headpiece. The My Little Pony collection features Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle, both which are available in three styles: hood, tutu, and harness and leash. Cra-Z-Art announced a strategic licensing agreement of Nickelodeon to market and distribute Slime kits in the U.S. The kits, which will be branded Nickelodeon Slime, will include the ingredients needed for kids to make their own version of the network’s iconic green goo.
Available this March, Slime will also come in a variety of colors and textures, including glitter, neon, and glow in the dark. Cra-Z-Art already produces components of Slime, including white and clear glue, in the U.S.
Nickelodeon Slime will be manufactured in the U.S. and is expected to be available at major retailers prior to the Easter holiday.
Pop Warner Little Scholars secured marketing agency Ignite2X to develop official licensed merchandise under the Pop Warner brand. Pop Warner is known for its youth football, cheer and dance, and scholastic programs.
The range will include sports, fan, and lifestyle merchandise, including apparel and accessories, school supplies, home accents, collectibles, toys, accessories, electronic games, apps, and more.
The licensing effort is led by Ignite2X with licensing veteran Alita Friedman. The deal will include the Pop Warner football and cheer divisions.

One Animation appointed Brandgenuity as licensing agent in the U.S. and Canada for the animated series Oddbods. The New York-based agency will build a licensing program for the Oddbods brand in categories including publishing, toys and games, apparel and accessories, back-to-school, home, gifts, social expression, experiences, and more.

The National Wildlife Federation signed new licensing partnerships to expand its Ranger Rick brand across digital, print, and kid-focused products. Partners include MerryMakers Inc., Ruckus Learning, Sage Licensing Group and Playlife Co., Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores, Once Kids, and The Quarto Group. Following the fourth quarter mass retail launch of SpacePOP, Genius Brands International Inc. announced a new partnership with Spirit Halloween for a direct-to-retail costume and accessories program this year.
Spirit Halloween will design and manufacture the first line of SpacePOP character costumes and accessories, which will debut at more than 1,000 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada beginning this August. Spirit Halloween joins a roster of partners for SpacePOP products, including apparel, accessories, beauty products, electronics, room décor, books, music, and home entertainment.
