Spin Master Launches Moonlite Storybook Projector

The Fred Roger’s Co., Cottage Door Press to Launch Electronic Sound Books for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

FredRogers_CottageDoorThe Fred Rogers Co. partnered with Cottage Door Press to develop a range of electronic sound books for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The independent publisher of children’s books will introduce a range of interactive board books featuring audio from the preschool series on PBS KIDS. The books will be available next fall.

The first three titles in the interactive book series—two song books and a Think & Find with Daniel—will be available at major retailers, including bookstores, e-commerce, warehouse clubs, and specialty outlets throughout North America.

Roblox, Egmont to Launch Collection of Books Based on Roblox Gaming Platform

roblox_LogoEgmont Publishing and Roblox Corporation will launch a collection of books based on the Roblox games, characters, worlds, and avatars. The first books will be released mid-next year.

Egmont distributes part of its profits to charitable activities through the Egmont Foundation. This partnership will bring proceeds from the Roblox publishing to initiatives that generate positive change for kids and adolescents at risk.

Encyclopaedia Britannica Expands Licensing Program with Britannica Virtual Reality Exploration!

Britannica_VRExplorationEncyclopaedia Britannica launches the latest book set, Britannica Virtual Reality Exploration!. The six-book set was developed in partnership with Encyclopaedia Britannica’s official licensed partner Publications International, and is sold exclusively at Costco.

The set features vetted information from Encyclopaedia Britannica and a virtual reality experience. The hardcover books have full-color illustrations and photographs, graphics, text, and videos. It also included is a six month free subscription to Encyclopaedia Britannica Online.

Roald DahlThe Roald Dahl Literary Estate appointed Brand Activation Consulting LLC (BAC) as its exclusive North American licensing agent. A new collection based on the stories from Ronald Dahl and Sir Quentin Blake’s illustrations will be available next spring.
