Hasbro, Harmonix Reveal Additional Songs for DropMix Music-Mixing Game

DropMixBoardHasbro Inc. revealed ten new songs and Party Mode for the upcoming music-mixing game DropMix from Hasbro and video game developer Harmonix Music Systems Inc. First announced in March, the DropMix game features multiple game modes, including Clash Mode and Party Mode that allows players to create unique mixes of songs by playing cards on a game board connected to a mobile app. The DropMix game will be available this fall.

Unlike Clash Mode, which pits two teams against each other as they battle to master the mix, players in Party Mode work together to quickly fulfill crowd requests coming from the DropMix app. Read the rest of this entry »

Activision to Showcase Lineup at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017

CPLG Adds Three New Space Invaders Partners

SpaceInvadersCPLG signed three new licensees for the video game Space Invaders to create lines for apparel and footwear. Fashion UK is on board to create Space Invaders footwear for both kids and adults, CWI will launch nightwear and underwear and has confirmed listings at George at Asda, and Fabric Flavours will launch kids’ daywear. All three are set to launch throughout this year.

Trademark Products, an existing licensee, confirmed new listings for its apparel and accessories range with GAME, Sainsbury’s, and Pulp for AW 2017.

Zynga, Epic Rights Partner to Launch Aerosmith Hit It Rich! Slot Game

Zynga_Epic_AerosmithZynga and Epic Rights partnered to launch Hit It Rich! Slots, an online free-to-play Aerosmith-themed game. The mobile game is now available from the app store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android devices.

The new Aerosmith game combines casino-style graphics and sounds with music by Aerosmith. Zynga brought the Aerosmith game to life through a licensing partnership with Epic Rights, the band’s global brand management company. Bungie to Expand Destiny 2 Merchandising Program

Destiny2Bungie, in collaboration with Activision, will add to the Destiny 2 brand with new licensing partners for its merchandising program.
