Ubisoft, Paladone Unveil New Range of Assassin’s Creed Merchandise

UbisoftLogoUbisoft and Paladone launched a new range of Assassin’s Creed merchandise, which are now available to purchase online and in selected retailers worldwide.The new merchandise range offers a selection of themed drinkware, coasters, a creed mirror, infinity light, notebook, and a multi tool.

“We’re extremely pleased to be able to finally showcase our brand new range of Assassin’s Creed merchandise,” said Jason Hall, Ubisoft UK licensing manager. “We hope that fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be pleased with the new range that we’ve launched today, as we continue to build on our ever-expanding retail offering. Personally speaking, my favorite item from the range would have to be the AC travel mug, which I never leave home without.”

McFarlane Toys to Launch Call of Duty Collectible Figures

Nintendo, Illumination to Release Super Mario Bros. Animated Film

supermarioodysseyNintendo Co. Ltd. and Illumination partnered to develop an animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. The project will be produced by Chris Meledandri, founder and CEO of Illumination, and legendary game designer and Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto.

The film will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo, and will be distributed theatrically worldwide by Universal.

Bloomers Edutainment to Launch Bloomers Show and Game

Bloomers BookBloomers Edutainment entered an agreement with Joovie Entertainment and Binary Bubbles for a new Bloomers TV series and game.

Bloomers was originally developed in schools as a curriculum and gardening program and now has a patented consumer products line that features seed starters and colorful growing kits. Disguise Launches Minecraft Costume Line

Disguise_MinecraftDisguise Inc.—the Halloween costume division of JAKKS Pacific Inc.— launched the first Minecraft costumes and accessories collection. The line is available now at retailers nationwide. The costumes and accessories are based on characters from Minecraft, the sandbox video game where players mine and craft 3-D blocks in a world of varied biomes and terrain.

The costumes feature characters such as Steve, Alex, and Creeper. Full sets of diamond Minecraft Armor are also available. The pants and tunic are inspired by the game’s 3-D blocky aesthetic, with range of motion designed for trick-or-treating. The long-sleeve tunic features detailed character artwork on the front and print coverage on the back. The half-masks include a mesh eye-plate and a foam insert designed for comfort and range of vision.

Accessories are also available, including the Minecraft Sword and Minecraft Pickaxe. The line is available in child sizes 4 to 6, 7 to 8, and 10 to 12 at retailers nationwide.

King Features Announces Licensees for Range Based on Cuphead Video Game

Funko will feature a full range of Cuphead collectibles, including vinyl toys, plush, apparel, and digital products. The initial launch will feature the collectible vinyl toys and will be revealed in an exclusive New York Comic Con Exclusive 2-Pack release this month. GameCo, Inc. to Develop Video Game Gambling Machines Featuring Steve Aoki

GameCoGameCo Inc. entered a license agreement with Steve Aoki to develop an original new video game gambling machine (VGM) game titled Steve Aoki’s Neon Dream.

Scheduled to debut in casinos this summer, the game is inspired by Aoki’s 2014 “Neon Future” album. The first-person game will blend the controls of an infinite runner with the experience of Aoki’s music.
