Disguise Launches Minecraft Costume Line

Disguise_MinecraftDisguise Inc.—the Halloween costume division of JAKKS Pacific Inc.— launched the first Minecraft costumes and accessories collection. The line is available now at retailers nationwide. The costumes and accessories are based on characters from Minecraft, the sandbox video game where players mine and craft 3-D blocks in a world of varied biomes and terrain.

The costumes feature characters such as Steve, Alex, and Creeper. Full sets of diamond Minecraft Armor are also available. The pants and tunic are inspired by the game’s 3-D blocky aesthetic, with range of motion designed for trick-or-treating. The long-sleeve tunic features detailed character artwork on the front and print coverage on the back. The half-masks include a mesh eye-plate and a foam insert designed for comfort and range of vision.

Accessories are also available, including the Minecraft Sword and Minecraft Pickaxe. The line is available in child sizes 4 to 6, 7 to 8, and 10 to 12 at retailers nationwide.

King Features Announces Licensees for Range Based on Cuphead Video Game

Funko will feature a full range of Cuphead collectibles, including vinyl toys, plush, apparel, and digital products. The initial launch will feature the collectible vinyl toys and will be revealed in an exclusive New York Comic Con Exclusive 2-Pack release this month. BBC Worldwide, Tiny Rebel Games Partner for New Doctor Who Game

Doctor Who Infinity Tiny Rebel Games Ltd. partnered with BBC Worldwide for Doctor Who Infinity, which will be available on PC on mobile platforms next spring. The new game is funded by Welsh Government’s Media Investment Budget and Double Eleven Ltd., and developed in collaboration with Seed Studio.

Doctor Who Infinity builds on the puzzle gameplay of Doctor Who: Legacy and immerses players in comic book style puzzle adventures. Each story-based adventure has its own unique art style and author.

With a soft launch in early Spring, Doctor Who Infinity will initially launch exclusively early next spring, and will be live globally on PC, iTunes, and Google Play late spring.

Aristocrat Technologies Licenses Madonna Brand for New Slot Game

Hasbro, TripAdvisor Partner to Add Vacations to The Game of Life

Life-1Hasbro Inc. teamed up with TripAdvisor to add vacations to The Game of Life game. For the first time in the board game’s 60-year history, players will be encouraged to choose their dream destinations with vacation cards inspired by some of TripAdvisor’s top-ranked family destinations and activities.

The Game of Life’s new vacation card options includes a ski trip, a beach day in Punta Cana, hiking the Great Wall of China, and visiting the Eiffel Tower. To celebrate the collaboration, a recent survey conducted by TripAdvisor illustrated just how important not just travel—but family travel—is to consumers.  Of respondents surveyed, 86 percent say taking vacation is an essential part of life; 88 percent say vacations enhanced their lives; and more than half feel happier, rejuvenated and closer with their families after taking a family vacation.

The Game of Life with the vacation updates will be available at most major retailers nationwide and on HasbroToyShop.com this August.

GameCoGameCo Inc. entered a license agreement with Steve Aoki to develop an original new video game gambling machine (VGM) game titled Steve Aoki’s Neon Dream.
