The First Thread Announces the Launch of Felix the Cat Capsule Collection

Focused on iconic poses and images, this collection included three styles, one for women and two in unisex sizes, and was promoted through retail displays.

The current collection features three new designs in unisex sizes, available in Havaianas stores worldwide. Fans can find two models with Popeye and another with Olive Oyl.

Playboy Partners Supreme and Bras N Things for New Collections

Playboy has partnered with Supreme to release their sixth limited-edition collaboration and with Bras N Things for the latest Playboy lingerie campaign.

The Playboy Supreme collection includes casual-wear essentials, such as T-shirts, shorts, and hats in a series of colors, embellished with the Playboy monogram. The collection launched in June and is available online at and in Supreme retail stores in New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Japan. Prices range from $44 to $128.

Bras N Things reunites with Australian model Simone Holtznagel for the latest Playboy lingerie campaign. Holtznagel featured in last October’s Playboy cover and came third in Australia’s Next Top Model. The partnership celebrates the launch of the Bunny Boost plunge double push up bra, available in cup sizes up to E. The collection comprises briefs, bras, suspenders, and bodysuits, available in a range of sizes.

Richmond Management Group (RMG) signed licensing partners for Tiniez, a tween girls aspirational brand in the toy and apparel category for launch next fall.

Jazwares, appointed as the master toy partner, will develop collectibles and plush for retail next fall and support Tiniez with its network of social media influencers to focus on growing the digital footprint of the brand.

Kandy Kiss will develop a 30 to 40 piece apparel collection, including tees, fashion tops, hoodies, leggings, skirts, rompers, and dresses. Bare Tree Media digital stickers are already available in the market.

Palamon Costumes (a division of Li & Fung) will introduce a select group of Tiniez characters chosen by Tiniez fans next Halloween that highlight their individual passions such as fashion, science, music, dance, and animals. DreamWorks Animation appointed CPLG to represent Felix the Cat across EMEA and North America.

CPLG will establish Felix the Cat as a cross-category lifestyle brand by creating a range of products that target teens and young adults. CPLG will launch Felix the Cat in the fashion category at retailers late this year, with a full cross-category rollout beginning next year.

Style guides will draw upon the wealth of assets within the archive that date back nearly 100 years. Created in 1919, Felix the Cat, was one of the first animated characters and moving images to broadcast on TV.

Lane Bryant entered a long-term partnership with Glamour for an in-store, digital, and print collaboration and an exclusive Glamour x Lane Bryant clothing collection set to launch this fall.

Puma Launches Superman Kids’ Collaboration Collection


Puma has partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Entertainment, to create a kids spring/summer collection inspired by Superman.

The Puma x Superman collection includes classic footwear styles in mini versions, available in Superman’s suit colors, featuring the iconic “S-Shield” on the reverse. Available for kids ages 2 to 12, Puma’s iconic silhouettes including the Suede, Carson Runner and Cabana Racer feature modern Superman graphics on the side and logo insole. The collection also features accessories including the cape, a backpack, apparel, and graphic T-shirts.
