The American Outdoorsman, LJO Partner for Footwear Line

TheAmericanOutdoorsmanOutdoor apparel brand The American Outdoorsman partnered with shoe manufacturer LJO to create a new footwear collection. The partnership marks the brand’s first licensing agreement, and will see LJO produce men’s, women’s, and kid’s footwear across all core outdoor activities, including hiking, trail running, winter boots, and water sandals.

The initial The American Outdoorsman footwear collection will be available next spring at select footwear and outdoor specialty stores, as well as at amazon.com and americanoutdoorsmangear.com.

SYBO Games, Vans Launch Subway Surfers Collection

subsurf_vansSYBO Games partnered with The Ave LA to offer a Subsurf Vans collection based on Subway Surfers, the most downloaded mobile game last year.

The Subsurf collection features customizable slip-on and high top versions of Vans sneakers. SYBO will premiere the footwear at the Subway Surfers Venice Beach Party on June 1, which coincides with the debut of the new Subway Surfers animated series that launches the same day on YouTube.

 

Skechers to Launch Garfield Footwear Collection

BOBSfromSkechers_GarfieldCollectionSkechers USA Inc. will introduce a collection of Garfield footwear within the BOBS from Skechers division. The new line for women will include an assortment of BOBS from Skechers styles with designs that feature Garfield as well as his canine sidekick, Odie.

The Garfield collection will be initially available in select Skechers retail stores across the U.S. and Canada, and online at skechers.com. Availability will expand to third-party retail partners and worldwide for the back-to-school season. CPLG Adds Three New Space Invaders Partners

SpaceInvadersCPLG signed three new licensees for the video game Space Invaders to create lines for apparel and footwear. Fashion UK is on board to create Space Invaders footwear for both kids and adults, CWI will launch nightwear and underwear and has confirmed listings at George at Asda, and Fabric Flavours will launch kids’ daywear. All three are set to launch throughout this year.

Trademark Products, an existing licensee, confirmed new listings for its apparel and accessories range with GAME, Sainsbury’s, and Pulp for AW 2017.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas Rocket Licensing (Rocket) expanded licensing programs for the Grinch this holiday season.

Rocket signed Dreamtex for a line of Grinch bedding and IG Design Group will introduce a line of Christmas gift wrap. Rocket also appointed BCI to produce a range of kids’ nightwear, Brand International Group will launch its first line of adult and kids’ footwear, and Misirli will debut a line of socks at Tesco this holiday season.
