Discovery Consumer Products, Macy’s Partner for Say Yes to the Prom Fashion Line

Featured as a shop in the juniors department, the Say Yes to the Prom collection will consist of gowns and a full line of jewelry available exclusively in 200 Macy’s department stores nationwide beginning next month.

The line will be available at select Macy’s beginning Jan. 30, in time for TLC’s sixth annual Say Yes to the Prom initiative, which offers U.S. high school students across the country the opportunity to have the prom of their dreams with educational extensions that prepare them for college and careers. Rocket Licensing Adds New Partners in the UK for The Grinch

How the Grinch Stole Christmas Rocket Licensing (Rocket) expanded licensing programs for the Grinch this holiday season.

Rocket signed Dreamtex for a line of Grinch bedding and IG Design Group will introduce a line of Christmas gift wrap. Rocket also appointed BCI to produce a range of kids’ nightwear, Brand International Group will launch its first line of adult and kids’ footwear, and Misirli will debut a line of socks at Tesco this holiday season.

The First Thread Announces the Launch of Felix the Cat Capsule Collection

Havaianas Launches Popeye Flip-Flop Collection

havaianas popeyeFoot wear brand Havaianas has launched a collection of flip-flops, featuring the classic love trio—Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Bluto. The first design went on sale in all Havaianas stores across Brazil as a project to celebrate the Brazilian Valentine’s Day on June 12.

Focused on iconic poses and images, this collection included three styles, one for women and two in unisex sizes, and was promoted through retail displays.

The current collection features three new designs in unisex sizes, available in Havaianas stores worldwide. Fans can find two models with Popeye and another with Olive Oyl.
