LIMA Announces 2018 LIMA Rising Stars

Bonkers Toys Nominated for LIMA Award for slither.io Line

Bonkers_slitherioThe Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA) nominated Bonkers Toys and its licensed slither.io toy line as one of six 2018 nominees in the “Toys and Games for Ages 0-12” category.

Bonkers Toys saw potential for slither.io, a family-friendly game and app from independent developer Lowtech Studios, shortly after the game was released. Bonkers became the first licensee for the mobile game, and created a true-to-license line of products including blind bag collectibles, plush, backpack clips, spinners, squishies, and build-a-slither toys. 2018 LIMA Awards Submissions to Close Next Month

LIMAThe International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) International Licensing Awards recognizes and highlights the innovation and creativity that impacted the worldwide marketplace during the last year.

Online entry for the LIMA Awards is currently open to members and non-members, and there is no fee to participate. Only LIMA members may vote on the final ballot. All submissions must be received by Thursday, Feb. 1.

WIT Announces 2018 Wonder Women Awards Gala Honorees

LIMA Seeks Nominations for 2018 Licensing Hall of Fame

May27LIMA(2)The international Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) is accepting recommendations for the Licensing Hall of Fame. Each year LIMA honors creators, marketers, manufacturers, and anyone who makes outstanding contributions to the global licensing community. This award represents the highest level of licensing excellence, and individuals considered for the award must follow the criteria guidelines listed here.

To be considered for induction into the 2018 Hall of Fame, online recommendations–including a detailed and formal description of the candidate’s contribution and adherence to the criteria—must be received by November 10.

The LIMA Board of Directors reviews all recommendations before making final selections.

eOne’s Peppa Pig Takes Home Trio of Awards at Multimir Children’s Festival

PeppaPigEntertainment One (eOne)’s Peppa Pig won three awards at Multimir’s inaugural awards ceremony, which kicked off on May 31 and ran until June 4 in Moscow.
