King Features, Spirit of Cadeau Launch Betty Boop, Popeye Pre-Paid Cards

The new gift cards may be loaded in increments of 20€ to 250€, and may be used all at once or at several times until all of the money is spent. The deal with Spirit of Cadeau was brokered by Biplano, the King Features licensing agent in France.

 

Peanuts Worldwide Names CPLG Agent in France and UK

PeanutsWorldwidePeanuts Worldwide appointed CPLG as the licensing agent for the Peanuts in France and the United Kingdom, effective January 1, and in the Middle East, effective immediately. CPLG will oversee the Peanuts licensing program across a wide range of product categories including apparel, toy, food and beverage, and publishing. Peanuts Worldwide and CPLG are both subsidiaries of DHX Media.

Merlin Entertainments to Open LEGOLAND Location in New York

Legoland_NYMerlin Entertainments is moving forward with plans to build a new LEGOLAND location in New York. The new location will open in 2020 in Goshen.

After more than a year of public meetings and hearings in addition to a thorough and transparent review process by officials, LEGOLAND New York has been granted conditional approval of its site plan by the Town of Goshen Planning Board, allowing it to officially move ahead with building the park. Kidz Global Survey Reveals Entertainment Brands Miss Out on Key Sales

KidzGlobalAccording to a Kidz Global BrandTrends survey, entertainment brands that ranked high on the brand popularity index (BPI) for French girls ages 7 to 9 include Minions, Ice Age, Lego, Playmobil, Lego Friends, Disney Princess, and Frozen. In terms of future purchase intentions (FPI), more than 75 percent of girls want a Frozen product—the favorite brand overall—and around 70 percent want a Disney Princess item. Shopkins Live! Shop It Up! Adds Dates to North American Tour

The School For Scandal, Startford FestivalFollowing last month’s premiere of Shopkins Live! Shop It Up!, an additional 30 cities were added to the tour for next year. This is the first theatrical production based on the Shopkins toy brand, and the tour will visit more than 115 North American cities through next April. Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public on Oct. 27.

Shopkins Live! Shop It Up! takes audiences into the world of Shopville with custom-designed costumes, onstage characters, and unique video and set designs. The show features original music and interactive sing-a-longs, with performances from Shoppies Jessicake, Bubbleisha, Peppa-Mint, Rainbow Kate, Cocolette, Polli Polish, and more. UFC, Opro Enter Global Licensing Partnership

UFC_Logo_Red_RGBUFC entered a multi-year global licensing agreement with Opro, which grants the oral protection company the rights to produce UFC-branded mouthguards and provide bespoke guards to UFC athletes. The partnership was negotiated by IMG and will begin next year.
