Peanuts, Uniqlo to Launch New Kaws X Peanuts UT Collection

PeanutsLogoUniqlo will release a second Peanuts collection for the brand’s UT (Uniqlo T-shirts) range with New York-based artist Kaws. The collection will feature all-black, NYC-inspired designs in honor of Black Friday. Items will be available for men, women, and kids at most Uniqlo stores nationwide and at uniqlo.com in late November.

 The collection will feature four styles for men and children and two styles for women. Snoopy plush toys that feature Kaws’ signature crossed-out eyes will also be available in large and small sizes.

The first Kaws × Peanuts UT collection launched last spring.

eOne, Merlin Entertainments Enter Global Partnership to Develop New Peppa Pig Attractions

eOne_MerlinEntertainment One (eOne) entered a global partnership with Merlin Entertainments (Merlin) to develop and operate location-based entertainment attractions based on its popular preschool license Peppa Pig.

Fun2Play Toys Launches Poo-nicorns Web Series and Web Game

Poonicorn_WebSeriesFun2Play Toys features the Poo-nicorn characters in a new web series and web game, which premiered the first episode on YouTube on October 17.

Each episode in the series focuses on teaching kids about topics including individuality, tolerance, and understanding. Kids can also travel with the Poo-nicorns in their web series as they visit famous landmarks like the Poo-ramids or Poo York.

Poo-nicorn toys are available at major retailers including Wal-Mart, Toys “R” Us, and more.

jakksBay Tek Games partnered with Jakks Pacific to develop and launch a home version of its ticket redemption arcade game Pull My Finger. The new game will be featured exclusively at Toys “R” Us this December, and be available to all retailers beginning next spring.

The Fred Roger’s Co., Cottage Door Press to Launch Electronic Sound Books for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

FredRogers_CottageDoorThe Fred Rogers Co. partnered with Cottage Door Press to develop a range of electronic sound books for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The independent publisher of children’s books will introduce a range of interactive board books featuring audio from the preschool series on PBS KIDS. The books will be available next fall.

The first three titles in the interactive book series—two song books and a Think & Find with Daniel—will be available at major retailers, including bookstores, e-commerce, warehouse clubs, and specialty outlets throughout North America.

Rovio Entertainment, Iron Maiden Partner for Angry Birds Evolution Halloween Edition

ABEvolution_EddieRovio Entertainment will feature Iron Maiden in a special Halloween version of Angry Birds Evolution. Eddie—the mascot of Iron Maiden—will be a playable character as Eddie the Bird in Angry Birds Evolution this Halloween season. In this two-week character event beginning October 18, players who recruit Eddie the Bird to their team will be able to keep him as a player permanently.
