eOne Unveils Expansion and New Rides at Peppa Pig World

PeppaPigWorldEntertainment One (eOne) revealed plans to expand Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park theme park in Hampshire, UK. The attraction will soon feature two new rides—The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club—that will open to the public in May.

The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride will take families on a tour around the newly extended area of Peppa Pig World in individual coaches on a monorail starting from the top of the Queen’s castle. Guests will also be able to hop aboard boats at Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club where they can cruise along the new water route around Peppa Pig World and discover Pirate Island. Zuru, Tangle Creations Partner to Relaunch Tangle Toys

ZuruZuru partnered with Tangle Creations to relaunch inventor and sculptor Richard Zawitz’ Tangle toys. The new line is available now at major retailers in the U.S. and a marketing campaign will rollout next month.

Tangles feature interconnecting links on a 90-degree curve that click together and pivot at each joint to form twisty creations. Tangles can be used as puzzles, fidget toys, movable sculptures, and more. Tangle toys originally launched in 1981 by Richard X. Zawitz, with more than 120 million Tangle units sold in over 40 countries to date.

Zuru’s full range of product will include Tangle links in an assortment of colors with a wide different patterns and textures.

 

Alpha Group Announces Launch of Operations in Latin America

The Wiggles Names Jacqueline Vong Head of North American Licensing

TheWigglesThe children’s​ ​musical​ ​group ​The Wiggles appointed Jacqueline Vong as head of North American licensing to help drive partnerships with targeted brands including recent partnerships with Fun 2 Play Toys for toys, MGM music and Kino Lorber for music and DVD distribution, and Stoneridge cycles for sporting goods in Canada.

The Aussie Fab Four will begin their Canadian tour The Big Show Tour at the end of the month. The themed toys and book and DVD bundle will launch this holiday season at Toys “R” in the U.S. and at Costco in Canada.

Licensing partnerships will launch early next year and provide new opportunities for parents and kids to immerse themselves in the brand.
