A new range of T-shirts and nightwear featuring iconic beef drink Bovril is set to grace UK shelves, thanks to an agreement signed by apparel specialist Poetic Gem.
Bovril is a British brand through and through. Originally named ‘Johnston’s Fluid Beef’, this dark and delicious drink was given the title of Bovril in 1886, and a legendary brand was created. Successive generations of Britons have grown up drinking Bovril, and more than 120 years later, around three and a half million jars are still sold every year, and enjoying a cup of Bovril is a half-time staple at football grounds throughout the country.
Poetic Gem will use iconic imagery to produce a range of adult nightwear to appeal to Britain’s millions of Bovril devotees.
